Alexander Monro (primus) had a variety of different hairstyles during his lifetime. He reached fame as an outstanding physician and university teacher. Nevertheless, the Scottish doctor was particularly known for his beautiful sense of fashion and his pleasant character. Before his demise at age 70 he was again and again talked about in magazines and tabloids due to his superb haircuts.
